Un-Label - Lisette Reuter
Un-Label, founded by Lisette Reuter, was set up to make cultural participation accessible to everyone, recognizing it as a human right that society has largely overlooked. The social enterprise works to change the practices of key cultural stakeholders, build inclusive networks, and influence political funding frameworks. Over the past 10 years, Un-Label has developed practical methods for accessibility and inclusion in Europe's cultural sector, using the arts as a lever to change social attitudes towards disability.
Un-Label’s social impact lies in empowering cultural actors to collaborate and develop best-practice models for inclusion, which break down stigma and fear. By working within prominent cultural institutions, Un-Label is reshaping the sector and creating long-lasting systemic change.
The organization generates income primarily through applied grants, and additionally through consulting and training services in the open market. In the future, Un-Label plans to separate market-based income from grants to ensure a sustainable business model.
