Colleagues in our US offices supported The Muhammad Ali Center and Farah Pandith, Muhammad Ali Global Peace Laureate, in the development of the groundbreaking 2025 Compassion Report.

The study measures and analyses compassion across 12 US Cities and provides actionable insights to combat polarisation, foster understanding, and inspire meaningful change.

By examining cultural and behavioural trends across six key sectors—spirituality, self-care, education, healthcare, sports, and politics—the report offers a comprehensive analysis of compassion in America. It introduces the Net Compassion Score (NCS) metric to track and improve compassion nationwide.

The Muhammad Ali Index sets out to:

  • Strengthen Compassionate Partnerships by engaging public and private sector leaders

  • Combat Polarisation and Hate through data-driven insights

  • Empower Community Leaders with research to drive positive change

  • Inform National and Global Discussions on fostering inclusivity

The report reflects Muhammad Ali’s enduring legacy and commitment to social justice. With the support of our Pro Bono team, this initiative continues to shape a more empathetic and united society.
