Hogan Lovells is a signatory to the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. Established in 2000, it is a voluntary accord between business and society, urging companies to operate with integrity, accountability and transparency. Currently, there are over 12,000 business participants in 160+ countries with representation from almost every sector and size. The UN Global Compact believes that all companies can meaningfully contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The UNGC is underpinned by the Ten Principles, a shared framework by which companies can uphold their fundamental responsibilities to human rights, labour standards, environmental practice and anti-corruption. Once responsible business is truly embedded - into their strategies, operations, policies and culture, without prioritising one area over another – companies should then seek to innovate and collaborate to solve today's global challenges.
Our annual Communication on Progress shares with you the progress we have made towards the Ten Principles and the development of our responsible business practices.
