With our partners Barefoot College we were recognised at the Global Good Sustainability Awards in London receiving Gold in both the Community Partnership – Social & Environmental Sustainability category and for the Special Judges Award for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our global partnership aims to bring clean, renewable light to 20,000 more families by training 400 women – known as Solar Mamas - across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands. Since 2016, we have enabled 385 women to be trained and have engaged over 25% of our global workforce to support Barefoot College through pro bono legal advice, skilled volunteering and fundraising.

In addition to the Global Good Sustainability Awards the partnership has also won Legal Business - CSR Programme of the Year; Better Society Awards – Partnership with an International Charity and Legal Week Innovation Awards – CSR Innovation. Flip the Switch - A Documentary has received official selection at 12 international film festivals with wins at Apulia Web Fest and World Fest- Houston International Film & Video Festival.
