Your Startup, Your Story (YSYS) is a start-up community dedicated to connecting diverse people with opportunities in tech. The YSYS community has supported its members to find new team members, start new roles and secure funding and by harnessing their expertise and diverse experience it is able to design diversity and inclusion initiatives that have tangible results. Since 2017, YSYS has helped over 10,000 diverse people to advance in tech.
YSYS has launched #YSYSAccessWeek which marks 4 years of campaigning for a diverse, inclusive and accessible tech ecosystem. From March 1st - March 4th 2021, YSYS will be launching new initiatives and hosting online conversations , all aimed towards championing accessibility.
As part of the week YSYS will launch the FoundersDoor Library, a digital library of highly curated video classes taught by diverse domain experts in the European startup ecosystem, from Atomico, Lego Ventures (and Hogan Lovells!). The library collection covers key topics that equip founders with practical insights and actionable steps to accelerate their start-up success, whether that’s validating their start-up idea, raising investment or scaling up growth. Through the FoundersDoor Library video format, YSYS hopes to build a start-up ecosystem that is accessible for everyone.
