The Black British Initiative has joined forces with SOAS University of London and the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation to launch MBA30, a certificate-level qualification aiming to address the challenges & disadvantages faced by aspiring Black entrepreneurs entering and operating in the world of business.
HL BaSE were honoured to deliver a legal Masterclass to the entrepreneurs in the fourth MBA 30 Cohort as part of the programme. This took place at our London office and involved our lawyers highlighting key legal issues for early-stage businesses to consider, including commercial contracts, funding, employment principles, IP, and more.
The amazing energy in the room was matched by the content of the incredible programme, where Hogan Lovells imparted highly valuable knowledge, teaching entrepreneurs about important business related legal matters. The impact was immediate, with numerous ‘light bulb moments’ as complex questions were addressed by the firm's seasoned experts.
