Ackerdemia – Dr. Christoph Schmitz

For a generation who knows what they eat – that the overall aim of Ackerdemia and its unique educational programme GemüseAckerdemie (translated: vegetable academy). The vegetable academy is the most awarded educational programme in Germany and is operating at over 600 schools and kindergardens all over Germany and with almost 30,000 kids participating in 2020. However, the big vision is that every child in Germany can learn how food is grown and experiences nature. For that we want to establish a learning place in nature in all schools in Germany and aim for a sustainable system change.

With now 100 emloyees and more than 800 volunteers we work in flat structures and are continously devloping our agile work culture. For the next steps on our journey we need professional help in important legal and strategic questions.
