Hogan Lovells and SPRING

 

Hogan Lovells has partnered with SPRING to provide access to legal advice and support on the ground in East Africa, as well as pro bono advice and mentorship through its global network of specialist lawyers to SPRING’s 18 business entrepreneurs across Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda.

SPRING is a five-year programme, its mission is to enable ventures to reach 200,000 girls with products and services that enhance their economic empowerment by 2019, with the ultimate goal of empowering our businesses to reach 50 million girls by 2030.

SPRING began in May with Selection Camp for 50 shortlisted entrepreneurs from Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda who were invited to pitch to the SPRING judging panel. Following deliberation, the final 18 businesses were selected and invited to join the 2015 SPRING cohort.
