On 10 May 2022, a team from our Paris office including nine volunteer lawyers, organized the fifth HL BaSE Catalyst workshop which took place virtually and advised four social entrepreneurs alongside two of our corporate clients, Société Générale and 3M.

The four young entrepreneurs were selected via the Entrepreneurs dans la Ville (EDLV) and Start-up Leadership Program networks:

• Benoît Barone, founder of the Peace. platform, which aims to help associations by bringing together professionals.

• Anaïs Kali, Director of Plantologie Urbaine, which offers team building activities for companies around gardening.

• Larissa Ngoumape, creator of the sustainable lingerie brand Lengue; and

• Elodie Setruk, Co-founder and Director of the Coloc&You platform, which aims to facilitate access to the flat sharing market for those in need.

The workshop was very well-received, with the entrepreneurs and our clients commenting on our expertise and willingness to push impact projects.

Through our HL BaSE Catalyst program, we have worked with over 100+ in-house counsel clients, across nine countries around the world (UK, U.S., China, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands). We are the only international law firm which provides this service for in-house counsel clients and the demand for places on our workshops is growing rapidly.
